About the Role
We’re looking for a culturally fluent, creatively sharp Social & Community Manager to own our voice across platforms and bring the BNTO community to life. This role is for someone who understands the lifestyle, habits, humor, and aspirations of our users — and knows how to build engagement that feels personal, relevant, and fun. You’ll handle day-to-day content, surface emerging trends, manage creator and affiliate collaborations, and help ideate high-impact campaigns and events — all while making sure the BNTO brand feels magnetic across digital and physical touchpoints.
About Us
Join a dynamic and innovative venture-backed company at the intersection of fashion, technology, and customer experience. ViaVia Corporation is home to BNTO, an AI-powered “omni-retail” subscription platform that personalizes your fashion experience with a fresh approach to new purchases, rentals, and resales. Powered by ALMA.AI, our proprietary full-stack vertical AI solution, BNTO redefines fashion with tech-first infrastructure and culture-shaping storytelling. We’re a Series A company backed by industry-leading investors including Notable Capital, Basis Set Ventures, NEA, the AI Fund, and Exor.
Your Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Manage our social media calendar and lead daily posting across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Instagram Community Channel, TikTok, etc.)
- Track cultural trends, internet behavior, and platform shifts — knowing when to jump in, remix, or start something new
- Build and nurture a vibrant community — engage in DMs, comments, and tags to spark meaningful conversations
- Collaborate across teams and with agency partners to identify creators, affiliates, and ambassadors who resonate deeply with our brand and audience
- Ideate and execute campaigns, collaborations, and content that feel native to each platform and culturally relevant
- Work directly with creators, from gifting and seeding to co-creation and social amplification
- Develop platform-specific strategies across social platforms and emerging channels.
- Report on social performance, engagement metrics, and community insights to inform strategy and guide future content.
- Lead social listening and trend monitoring — translate insights into action and share reports with internal teams
- Support community activations across the country and help translate IRL energy into digital engagement
- Help shape and evolve our brand voice — stylish, smart, emotionally aware, and community-rooted
- Collaborate with brand, merchandising, growth, and CX teams to create a cohesive, community-first experience
- Be hands-on with content creation and editing, working with internal partners to bring ideas to life quickly and cleanly
Your Experience and Skills include:
- 3 to 8 years (or more!) of experience growing and managing social-first brands, ideally in fashion, beauty, or consumer lifestyle
- A sharp writer and visual thinker — understands brand voice, has a natural sense of wit and humor, and knows what looks good both aesthetically and emotionally
- Deep understanding of community psychology and lifestyle. You’re able to connect with our audience in an authentic and emotionally intelligent way
- A scrappy, creative, and resourceful doer — creates high-impact moments through sharp thinking and cultural intuition
- Comfortable using basic creative tools like CapCut, Canva, or Figma — while we have in-house copy and design support, it’s a plus to be able to make quick edits or mockups independently
- Always tuned in to internet culture, emerging trends, and platform shifts
- Naturally collaborative, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in fast-paced environments
- Loves fashion, understands subcultures, and is excited to help shape a new one
- Experienced in community-led events or social-first IRL campaigns
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; can patiently and effectively communicate with a diverse and multicultural group of peers across time zones and continents. People are inspired by you, and you are a continuous beacon of our values internally and externally.
- You believe that feedback is a gift; you can receive and grow from feedback, and you can thoughtfully and appropriately provide feedback to others as needed.
- Nimble, scrappy and adaptable with a high sense of urgency. Can roll with the punches and thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment, including pitching in to support other persons and teams
- A positive, can-do attitude. You’re not deterred by minor setbacks and are able to swiftly overcome ambiguity
- Will consistently cultivate a culture of inclusion where all team members feel a sense of belonging and can bring their authentic selves to work. You embody this on a daily basis and lead by example
- Ability to travel if needed, including internationally
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office programs, social media and social media marketing platforms
- Bonus Points:
- Experience in having built a social presence or grassroots community from scratch
- Experience with creator tools and affiliate platforms (e.g. LTK, ShopMy, Impact)
- Familiarity with social performance tools (e.g. Dash Hudson, Sprout, Sprinklr)
Compensation and Benefits:
- The pay range is $75,000 - $120,000, with the higher end of the band being reserved for candidates with steep, senior experience. Final compensation, level and job title will be determined by relevant factors such as experience, skill sets and location.
- This position may be a contract-to-hire relationship.
