About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and talented product designer to join our lean but mighty design team and help shape our digital products. You will drive and iterate on features throughout the entire product lifecycle, continuously refining and improving the experience to bring it to a world-class level. You'll serve as a strong advocate for users and set a high bar for crafting intuitive, accessible, and beautiful experiences. You’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit and Optimize Designs for browser, mobile, and iOS experiences: Evaluate existing features and designs to identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure every interaction feels intuitive, smooth, and aligned with user needs.
- Iterate and Innovate: Work on a blend of ongoing enhancements to existing features while driving the design of brand-new functionality.
- Elevate the Experience: Continuously refine products for accessibility, usability, and aesthetic excellence, creating world-class experiences.
- Lead Research Initiatives: Collaborate with marketing and ecommerce teams to conduct user research and data analysis to uncover actionable insights that inform design decisions and product roadmaps.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and executives to transform abstract concepts into impactful solutions.
- Promote Design Excellence: Evangelize UX/UI best practices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality design language across all touchpoints.
- Drive Strategic Decisions: Help shape the product vision and strategy by leveraging design expertise and customer insights.
- Mentor and Guide: Inspire and support team members, cultivating a culture of inclusion, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Experience & Skills
- Expertise: 8+ years in merchandise planning, inventory management, or strategic planning, ideally in fashion or e-commerce platforms.
- Financial Acumen: Strong experience in inventory management and understanding revenue, margin, and profitability drivers.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Advanced skills in data analysis and forecasting, with familiarity in inventory and planning tools.
- Collaborative Leadership: Proven ability to work with product, engineering, and data teams to optimize processes and metrics.
- Team Leadership: Experience building and mentoring high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary ($140,000 - $165,000) and equity package in a well-funded, high growth company. Compensation is based on a number of relevant factors such as location, professional experience and related skill sets.
