Similar to how Roman Health and Hims revolutionized access to healthcare, we are building the system to streamline complex tax planning tools — making them smart, simple, and accessible to everyone.

We started by simplifying the creation and management of irrevocable trusts, and today, we offer a full suite of solutions to address capital gains, income, and estate and gift tax obligations. Our proprietary platform delivers real-time tools and education, enabling individuals and their advisors to evaluate, select, and implement best-in-class tax mitigation strategies — from trust-based solutions to investments in solar energy and oil and gas partnerships.

The proof is in the results: We have scaled quickly to 7-figures of annual revenue with 12 team members, and have partnerships with some of the top investment advisory firms in the business. Given that traction, we have raised money from a group of top early-stage investors, including Vibe Capital, Box Group, Canaan Partners, BasisSet, and notable angels. As demand accelerates, we are expanding our team to help more individuals preserve and grow their wealth.

About this role

We are hiring an Account Executive to fuel the next phase of our growth. You will work directly with individuals who are exploring sophisticated tax strategies.

You will work hard to prospect and identify inbound qualified leads . The ideal candidate would also have a deep passion for making a difference in improving people's finances. You will be at the front lines of our sales efforts: driving education, sparking interest, building relationships, and helping clients structure and close on high-value tax planning strategies. You’ll work in a close-knit team, collaborate directly with leadership, and have a visible impact on the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate the value of Valur’s tax strategies and trust offerings to inbound prospects.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with high-net-worth individuals and family offices.
  • Guide clients through the trust and planning selection process.
  • Maintain detailed records and workflows within Hubspot, Google Drive, and our internal systems.
  • Help refine and scale our sales messaging, pitch materials, and client-facing resources.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product and Marketing teams to continuously improve the client experience.

Qualifications

  • 3-4+ years of experience in a client-facing sales or relationship management role
  • Accounting, finance or audit background is preferred.
  • Background in a tech-forward environment - startup or major tech company experience highly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in translating complex financial concepts into simple, actionable guidance
  • Comfort working in an early-stage startup environment, with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
