Junior Software Engineerr

We are building Reflow, a workforce and workflow intelligence platform that helps teams understand and improve how work gets done. We are growing our engineering team and looking for a Junior Software Engineer who wants to work across the stack, ship real features, and learn fast in a production environment.
This role is hands-on and impact-driven. You will work on core product features, analytics surfaces, and backend systems that power workflow intelligence.

What you will do

• Build and ship product features across frontend (Next.js) and backend (Django) systems
• Implement APIs and backend logic that support analytics, reporting, and automation features
• Work with databases to design schemas, write queries, and improve performance
• Build and maintain data-driven UI components, dashboards, and interactive views
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and senior engineers to move features from idea to production
• Debug, test, and improve existing systems with a focus on reliability and performance

Who you are

• Comfortable working in Python and JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience with React or Next.js and a backend framework such as Django or similar
• Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and modern web application architecture
• Able to reason about performance, data flow, and system behavior beyond just making things work
• Curious, driven, and willing to take ownership of real features early

Bonus points

• Experience building analytics dashboards or data-heavy interfaces
• Familiarity with SQL, query optimization, or basic data modeling
• Exposure to cloud deployment, CI/CD, or production debugging
• Interest in AI-driven products, automation, or intelligent systems
