The Experience

Marketing Cloud is Salesforce's AI-driven platform for customer experience. It lets marketing, data and digital teams unify their data, segment audiences and activate campaigns across email, mobile and web. As a Marketing Cloud Solution Engineer in the Swiss Sales team, you will be the trusted technical advisor for customers, from marketing and IT teams to C-level executives. You will bring the platform to life through demos, proofs of concept and solution design. You will also work on strategic initiatives that improve how the Solution Engineering team works and help grow your own profile within Salesforce.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

• Partnering with sales teams, partners, product and industry specialists to support the sales pipeline and annual revenue growth.
• Leading customer discovery and technical workshops to shape solutions that solve business and architecture challenges and deliver a fast return on investment.
• Presenting product demos to customer audiences, in sales cycles and at events such as World Tour.
• Owning proofs of concept on Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud from start to finish, including defining success criteria and building the solution.

You're Our Person If...

• You are fluent in German and English.
• You have 5+ years in Solution Consulting, Technical Architecture or Technical Product Leadership, demonstrating solutions to customers.
• You have 5+ years in digital marketing (B2C or B2B), marketing automation, customer data platforms or AI.
• You can design marketing technology architectures, including integrations with CRM, commerce, content and analytics systems.

Even Better If...

• You have built and delivered proofs of concept or implementations on marketing or data platforms.
• You have worked on machine learning or AI projects, including large language models, prompt engineering and agentic use cases.
• You can script or code in SQL, AMPscript, SSJS, JavaScript or Python.
• You hold Salesforce certifications such as Marketing Cloud Consultant or Developer, Data Cloud Consultant, Agentforce or an Architect-track credential.
